nib The Kirin of Pelikan is the fifth and last piece of the entire Pelikan Asia LE, they started with the Dynasty, the Phoenix, the White Tiger, Xuan Wu and finally the KIRIN. The Kirin is described as the mythical animal with dragon head, pig face, deer horn, tiger back, bear waist, with body covered with scales; exudes an aura of mysticism with the power to defend evil. Legend has it that KIRIN was also closely linked to the great philosopher Confucius. When his mother was carrying him, she met with a KIRIN in the woods. From the mouth of the KIRIN came a small piece of jade tablet with the word “Wen” (knowledge) engraved; predict the imminent birth of a very special individual. The fountain pen comes with the carved case in 925 sterling silver plated with gold and the yellow color on both the cap and nib section indicates the color of imperial yellow that the Kirin is often used as a symbol of mandate and knowledge. The pen is new and never used. The fountain pen has never been dipped or inked. Comes with original wooden box and all papers and packaging as shown above.

Il Kirin di Pelikan è il quinto e ultimo pezzo dell’intera Pelikan Asia LE, hanno iniziato con la Dinastia, la Fenice, la Tigre Bianca, Xuan Wu e infine il KIRIN. Il Kirin è descritto come l’animale mitico con testa di drago, muso di maiale, corna di cervo, dorso di tigre, vita di orso, con corpo ricoperto di scaglie; trasuda un’aura di misticismo con il potere di difendere il male.
La leggenda narra che il KIRIN fosse anche strettamente legato al grande filosofo Confucio. Quando sua madre lo portava in grembo, si è incontrata con un KIRIN nel bosco. Dalla bocca del KIRIN uscì un piccolo pezzo di tavoletta di giada con la parola “Wen” (conoscenza) incisa; predire l’imminente nascita di un individuo molto speciale.
La penna stilografica viene fornita con la custodia intagliata in argento sterling 925 placcato in oro e il colore giallo sia sulla sezione del cappuccio che del pennino indica il colore del giallo imperiale che il Kirin è spesso usato come simbolo di mandato e conoscenza.
La penna è nuova e mai usata. La penna stilografica non è mai stata né intinta né inchiostrata. Viene fornito con scatola di legno originale e tutti i documenti e gli imballaggi come mostrato sopra.
